 Description

Cate Boerema and Marc Johnson had a conversation about adopting a convention for relating backend and UI stories together.

Cate Boerema proposed the format:

Backend Work for {{UI-ISSUE-ID}}: {{descriptive name}}

For example:

Backend Work for UISP-7: Add Hold Shelf Expiry Period to Service Point

Additional Info:

  • All stories that are ready to groom should be Open (Draft will not display on the scrum board)
  • Labels (these drive the filters on the board)
    • front-end - Frontend work
    • back-end - Backend work
    • ui-only - Frontend only (no dependencies)
