 Description

The upcoming changes to mod-circulation for CIRC-159 Closed mean that it will depend upon interfaces provided by mod-calendar.

In order to build a coherent backend after these changes are merged, mod-calendar needs to be deployed and activated prior to mod-circulation

Wayne Schneider John Malconian what is the status of mod-calendar in folio-snapshot? Do we have anything old deployed there?

Comment by John Malconian [ 17/Jan/19 ]

yes, ui/mod-calendar is part of the daily folio-snapshot and folio-testing builds. We probably need to verify the order in which mod-calendar is enabled for folio-testing. Assigning this to myself.

Since mod-calendar will become a dependency of mod-circulation, the following changes have been added to folio-ansible in PR https://github.com/folio-org/folio-ansible/pull/167 (now merged):

  • mod-calendar is enabled prior to mod-circulation in 'testing' group vars
  • mod-calendar has been added to 'testing-core' group vars and 'snapshot-core' group vars since it will now need to be considered part of the 'core' set of modules.

In addition, ui-calendar has been removed from platform-complete and is now part of platform-core.

  • New platform-core snapshot NPM (v1.2.2-SNAPSHOT) published to npm-folioci NPM repo.
  • platform-complete/snapshot updated to use @folio/platform-core-1.2.2-SNAPSHOT
