Ha! Based on Marc Johnson's comments from his analysis of which modules are involved here, it seems that there are only four modules touched by this (beyond ui-users, which he's already dealt with), each them with a relevant issue already:
Better still (for me), all four of those issues are owned by Niels Erik Nielsen – so it looks like I have nothing to do in this regard, beyond the already-necessary release of ui-users (
