I am looking for guidance/best practice for notifying FOLIO admins for when an existing module is updated to require new permissions. For example - steps are as follows: (1) A module currently only has the standard permissions set for access(module.NAME.enabled and settings.NAME.enabled) For now, the way to convey this is - documentation on the release with a major version of the release (noting this). Sys admins would need to recognize and apply newly required permisssions This Jira ticket is result of conversations in slack regarding permissions and ideas about how updates to permissions could be automated: |
