 Description

I need to create a second JIRA account for testing and have been trying on and of to do this for a week.

Steps:

  1. Log out of JIRA
  2. Create a new account with username cfoster, email of cate.boerema@gmail.com and password of my choice
  3. Verify my email address by logging into my cate.boerema gmail account
  4. Attempt to log into https://issues.folio.org

Expected: Should be able to log in

Actual: Can't log in (email or pw not recognized is the error, I think). So I reset password and directly after I try to log in with the new email and password and I age a "The user provided cannot be found or the reset password token has become invalid/timed out." message. This has happened several times now across several days.

Hi Cate Boerema - I'm not able to reproduce your issue. I notice in your steps above that you first log off and then create the account. So I have to assume you are using the 'Signup' link to create the account. I tested this as well as creating a new account while logged in as my regular account (with jira admin privileges) and both worked. I would recommend trying the latter - Log into Jira using your regular account and then create the user. You have the permissions to do that. After the account has been created with credentials, log off your regular account and log in with the account you created.

I tested the 'cfoster' account and it works, but , of course, I had to change the password so you will probably want to change it back to whatever you had before.
