Jira plugin has been installed, however, we still need to integrate it with an instance of TestRails. There is a cloud (SaaS) edition of TestRails and that would seem to the easiest way to go. $25 per month for 1-20 users. http://www.gurock.com/testrail/pricing/cloud/

here is some info on the trial version of TestRails:

Dear Mark Veksler,

Thank you for requesting a hosted account of our test management
software TestRail. We have set up your TestRail account on our servers
and you can use the following login details to access it:

Address: https://foliotest.testrail.io/
Username: mveksler@ebsco.com
Password: JRv0XXXXXXXXXXXX

I recommend starting with the Getting Started topic in the online help;
reading this guide takes just a few minutes and should get you started
quickly. The online help can be found in the upper right corner of the
TestRail user interface by clicking the Help link.

If there's anything we can do to make your TestRail evaluation a
success or if you have any questions about TestRail, please let us
know. We are happy to help.

Kind regards,
Gurock Team

Mark Veksler . I've completed the Jira integration with the TestRail instance you created above. I've also masked the password in the comment above since we don't want to expose passwords in a public Jira instance. Message me directly if you need it.

John Malconian continuing with my test rail experimentation. when I try to push a defect into Jira from TestRail, I get the following error (see attachment).
Could you please check permissions for the integration user (or for my lira account) to make sure i can add issues into jira projects?

thanks!
