 Description

When logged in as diku/admin
Click on user Abshire, Clint note that he is a proxy for Abbott, Dulce .
Then try to check out an item for Abshire
We expect a pop up box to appear to ask us if Abshire is checking out an item for himself or for Abbott.
What happens is that no pop up appears
------
When we try to check out for Abbott,
the pop up box does appear- and it should not, since Abbott is the Sponsor for Abshire not the proxy
-------
When using demo - (1/16)
When we selected the sponsor the pop up box changed as well to the sponsor acting as self of as the sponsor... not as the proxy acting as the sponsor.

Actually, Abbott is listed as a Proxy for Abshire. Clearly the labels need work here. Please submit this enhancement request in the wiki page we discussed on the Slack channel.

We're definitely planning to send suggestions on better labels for sponsor and proxy in the user records. But this bug has to do with action at point of checkout. Clint is trying to check something out. When you enter Clint's ID, you should get the popup asking whether he is checking out for himself or for Dulce. You don't. It just checks out the book to Clint.

On the other hand, if you try to check out something using Dulce's ID, you get a dialog box asking if Dulce is acting for herself or Clint.

Dulce is intended to be the sponsor, so she is always acting for herself, so she shouldn't get the dialog box during checkout.

Thanks, Ann-Marie Breaux. Your comment assumes that Clint was set up as a proxy for Dulce and he was not.

If you are looking at Clint's user record and Dulce is listed under "Proxy" it means that Dulce is a proxy for Clint, not the other way around.

Cate - we even tried this the other way round and had the same results. The sponser had the pop up on the check out not the proxy.

Following up on on a comment - we created this wiki page: https://folio-org.atlassian.net/wiki/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=4228468

Anya, this bug, as originally described, cannot be reproduced. Can you please create a new bug for the thing you are seeing now and be more specific about what you mean by you "tried this the other way around"? Please list the repro steps from beginning to end in a numbered list with expected and actual behavior. Here is the standard bug write-up format: https://folio-org.atlassian.net/wiki/display/COMMUNITY/Standard+Bug+Write-Up+Format

Thanks!
