I wonder if the postman thing is successful since the session token in that one is really old, and has access to old, open DB connections

, our experience is a bit different. For us, the first import of the day (using the UI) pretty much always fails. Our staff have just taken to doing a "dummy" import to get it out of the way in the morning. Then the rest of the imports work, assuming nothing is wrong with the underlying data.

The above is experienced in a Kiwi environment.
Overview:
When doing a CREATE import, the following error was encountered intermittently in mod-srs. As a result the import was not completed successfully and mod-srs created 50 records less than desired (50,000). However, this error was not consistently reproducible at all times, but the PTF has seen many occasions of it to warrant a deeper investigation.

Steps to Reproduce:
Log into PTF env: https://pre-kiwi-cap1.int.aws.folio.org/data-import
Load a 25K import file and use the PTF - Create 2 profile.
If the job fails, check mod-srs for the error above.
Expected Results:
The job would complete successfully without any errors
Actual Results:
The job failed with the errors above.
