Created this to serve as a home for UICHKOUT-683, which Duke really wants, but had been hanging out not connected to a feature.
Current situation or problem:
The Checkout app has an end session button, but it requires clicking a button in the bottom of the screen. It would be really helpful if we could also get a shortcut key that functioned in the app to end the session. Doing so helps protect patron information, especially if the library isn't using the circulation timeout function or has it set to a longer period for other workflow reasons.
In scope
Adding a custom shortcut key to the Checkout app that triggers the same workflow as clicking the "End session" button in the bottom right.

Check out does not currently have keyboard shortcuts implemented - is that a necessary pre-requisite, or could it be done as part of this work?
Does the standard keyboard shortcut guide in the UI need to have a version specifically for check out that includes this special shortcut key?
Have any other apps done custom shortcuts? (Orders - Alt-A for adding a POL)
