Overview: The implementing libraries is not overly happy with the current implementation of success toast (green, orange, and red) when using Single record import, and the system needs to wait for other updates happening at the same time.

uChicago have observed that Single record import sometime throw a a green success toast, for the SRI imported record also when the record is not yet updated.

Discuss/improve/solve:

1. How can the system better communicate about processes? Kafka messaging?

   • Users should not be left to guess when FOLIO has completed a process and they can move on to the next step in the workflow."
