Description

Current situation or problem:
Agreements supports "Supplementary Properties" and "OA Properties" and Licenses "Terms". However, over time the specific terms/properties the institution wants to use may change - leaving some properties only applying to older terms or properties

Currently the only way of indicating to a user that a term/property should no longer be used for new licenses/agreements is to rename it with some information like renaming "Course pack term" to "DEPRECATED Course pack term".

The deprecated term/property needs to be presevered for past licenses/agreements when it was relevant. The desire is that users should not add that term/property to any license or agreement going forward.

In scope

  • Ability to mark terms as deprecated in relevant Settings page

  • Not displaying deprecated terms in the list of available terms when adding terms to a license or properties to an agreement in the UI
