Overview:

This feature includes updates and enhancements for improving order searching.

Search performance continues to be a top priority. There are also a number of data points that search results cannot be sorted by. 

Scope:

• Include additional search parameters

• Allow sorting by additional result list columns

• Improve the performance and usability of search

Considerations:

The team has investigated elastic search as a possible means of improving search performance and usability. Allowing users to search for records by data found in records from other apps without the need to duplicate data. Eg. Find POL by searching invoice line number. Implementing elastic search functionality would require a separate feature.
