The situation might be improved with MODUIMP-63 MODUIMP-64 fixes that's in code review at the moment. With MODUIMP-64 PR, it is now possible to load 100k records wo problems at least on my developer desktop machine, 32 GB RAM, i9 9900k CPU.

do we know which team would be addressing these problems? discussed that the Platform team does not have a sufficient bandwith for rewriting mod-user-import. I believe Harry was looking for comunity resources that would be working on these module.

Per a discussion with , I made a feature to link all these issues, bugs, stories and tasks that have been floating around about mod-user-import. As the User Management PO, I am happy to assist in any way I can to get these tickets in shape.

Library admins are user mod-user-import to load records from legacy or oncampus ERP systems. There are issues with memory allocation, loading large files, problems with permissions and request preferences.
This feature is to stabilize the performance of the mod.
