As of Jan 2021, development of MARCcat has ceased. Will incorporate some features into quickMARC.

If I understand this description, this is for holdings data in MARC format and we will not need to work with MARC in holdings format.

The function makes available the possibility to create and manage an Holding record, following the MARC 21 format for Holdings Data: https://www.loc.gov/marc/holdings/
The creation of this Holding record will consider the prototype designed by David Garcia Sanchez and already discussed with the MARCcat subgroup:
