codex: some simple discovery of sources

Description

Be able to get a list of available sources.. The codex-mux will offer that service to the UI and backend codex will in turn as an option be able to report the sources.. In essense make the list dynamic. Can be extended later with capabilities, search fields supported, etc etc.
